Our services have extended times of musical worship where we seek to draw near to the Lord and to experience His presence among us. During this time, and sometimes after the talk, there may be prayer for healing, time to respond to what people feel God is saying to them, or someone may share a message they feel is from the Lord. There is always time in the service each week to bring our financial offerings to him as well. We aim for the talk to be around 30mins in length, with the whole service roughly around 1.5hrs – but we’re always open to how the Lord is working amongst us and how this might affect the finish time. After the weekly ‘What’s in the Bible’ video clip (which the adults love too!!) and quiz questions for the children, they leave us, along with the teenagers, to have their own age-appropriate teaching and worship times. On the third Sunday of the month we share all-age communion together (bread and grape juice) in varying, creative ways (parents decide if their children are ready to take part in the communion).
If you are considering attending for the first time, please don’t feel you have to take part in the worship – you are free to take in the surroundings and see what’s going on. Similarly, as we see our financial offerings as an act of worship, don’t feel you have to give money either during this part of our worship service. We would love to get to know you a bit more, so if you introduce yourself to one of the welcome team they can help you settle in and feel at home.
After the service has finished we move in to The Refresh Centre to chat and have some tea, coffee and biscuits. Please don’t feel you have to stay, but you’re very welcome if you’re a little thirsty and fancy a cuppa, or just want to ask some questions about the service!
